Creating MusicIs there cheap software to create music similar to what Ron creates? I know a bit about music from my days in the high school band 30 years ago. In fact I just got a casette recording of my 10-20 songs that I wrote with my simple acoustic guitar (with vocals) put on disc but now I'd like to create a fuller sound of these songs.
Re: Creating MusicSony makes a freeware loop based program called Acid Express that works really well.

Re: Creating MusicAlso check out Magic Music Maker http://www.magix.com/us/music-maker/. Ron used this application to create some of his music. I don't know if he is still using it, though.
Re: Creating Music
Yes, I continue to use it Not as much as I'd like to lately, though. Regards,

Re: Creating MusicRon, please tell me I could make good sound with the $59 or $99 version rather than the $399 version!
Re: Creating Music
OK, I use the $59 version and, once you have the basics, you can create some great music! Regards,

Re: Creating MusicYou could try Audacity which is a freeware: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Also Reaper has gained some followers which is a very cost effective program: http://www.reaper.fm/ Personally, I use Cakewalk/Sonar 5.0PE as I've been with Cakewalk since early 90's. Hope that helps....carry on...
