Upgrade from PE11I have been using PE11 for semi pro sports matches I record which is simple top & tail editing with title screens etc, also using the CTI to clip segments out for performance analysis viewing. This does the job fine for me since it's release - so see no need to upgrade until they stop supporting 11. Unless that is PE18 will give me any tec pro upgrades - or will I just be adding Party gimmick's which appears to be the case with most newer versions I have looked at ?
Re: Upgrade from PE11Post version-12 the program is 64-bit rather than 32-bit, which can improve performance.
Also, there's greater support for non-traditional (non-camcorder) video in newer versions of the software, including video that uses variable frame rate. But if you're happy with the workflow and it does everything you need, there's no urgent need to upgrade. I've got a 2012 car that I love. Though there are a couple of features on newer cars I'd certainly appreciate too. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
