Hi,
I have version 15 of PRE and intend to switch to Ver. 2019. But I saw that this ver. does not support

Burning BluRay disc PRE 2019Hi,
I have version 15 of PRE and intend to switch to Ver. 2019. But I saw that this ver. does not support BluRay. Is this true? Hope I'm wrong. Regards Thomas
Re: Burning BluRay disc PRE 2019Neither version 2018 nor version 2019 include the ability to create BluRay discs, Thomas. It's a feature Adobe has chosen to discontinue.

Re: Burning BluRay disc PRE 2019Hi Steve,
After understanding that the ability to burn BluRay disc in Premiere Elements 2019, I think of an alternative way to solve the problem. I create a complete video project in PE 2019. Thereafter, the HD project exports. In PE 15, I import the exported file and create menus and burn the BluRay disc. Will this work or is there any problem? Regards Thomas
Re: Burning BluRay disc PRE 2019That will definitely work, Thomas.

Re: Burning BluRay disc PRE 2019In that case, I have a workflow equivalent to Premiere Pro and Encore, where PR 2019 corresponds to PR Pro and PR 15 Encore. Right ?
Re: Burning BluRay disc PRE 2019Essentially, yes.
Although if you're going to output your video for BluRay authoring in another program, it might be worth considering outputting from Premiere Elements 2019 and creating your BluRay in DVD Architect or even DVD Architect Studio 5 (available fairly cheap, since it's an older program). DVD Architect and DVDA Studio are easy to use programs that have many more options for creating menus and adding bonus features to your discs. You can find free Basic Training tutorials for it right on our web site. https://muvipix.com/products.php?search ... =0&btn.y=0 HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Burning BluRay disc PRE 2019Thank you for your points of view. I will study the options. Most importantly, the problem with PRE 2019 is not dismissed. There are other possibilities that will mean that I will continue with PRE 2019 (and will order your book 2019)
Re: Burning BluRay disc PRE 2019Steve also has an excellent book for DVDAS.
Re: Burning BluRay disc PRE 2019
I’ve used DVDAS for years and still refer to Steve’s book to jog my memory about how to do some things. Highly recommend both the program and the book. Be yourself; everyone else is taken.
