Re: St Clare of Assisi
Thank you Steve. I do not feel like I am very good at it yet. One of the key points that I have read about for drone recording is to make sure you always try to fly in straight lines regardless of vector. For me it is a bit difficult to try to fly and also spot the aircraft at the same time. Camera shot looks good but.... yike did not notice I am about to hit a tree brance.... lol Sidd "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." ..... Re: St Clare of AssisiSidd, your flying is pro level. So very smooth.

Re: St Clare of AssisiI see the link but I don't see the embedded video in the post, is it just me or is there a problem with the Vimeo tag?

Re: St Clare of Assisi
Yes Chuck I think there might be an issue with the tag........ OHHHHH ROOOONNN
Thank you Mom. That little drone is a lot of fun to fly and record. For me I think part of the excitement is the fear that it will crash or fly away. So it is always trying to get a shot without making a knucklehead move. On a couple of the passes I almost hit a tree branch trying to do a pan shot. But it is a whole bunch of fun. Re: St Clare of Assisi
I was able to see it when it was originally posted, but not now.
Re: St Clare of AssisiThe vimeo tag uses the Flash player to view the video. I'm wondering if Flash may be the problem. If not installed or enabled, some browsers will ignore the flash object and not show anything in its place -- like it's not there. Others may show a format not supported message or prompt to install an extension or enable Flash. Perhaps a recent patch changed your browser's behavior regarding Flash?
Flash is being phased out and people are moving to html 5 with native support for mp4. I wonder if there is anything available in the board software to support that usage.
Re: St Clare of AssisiI can see the flash header on the page so I don't think that is the problem. Using Chrome with the flash plug in enabled, not sure what the problem is but maybe Ron knows, or the Shadow....

Re: St Clare of AssisiI have flash enabled for Muvipix and it's not working here. All I have is the link.

Re: St Clare of AssisiTried it in several different browsers. None display the movie. Microsoft Edge Browser, when Flash is enabled, shows a blank white box where the movie would show -- that's the Flash Player. Right clicking on it gives message "movie not loaded..." Something is definitely wrong.
As for Flash, Adobe will stop updating and distributing the Flash Player at the end of 2020. Microsoft will fully remove Flash from supported versions of Windows in mid 2020. That's getting pretty close.
Re: St Clare of AssisiYes, we have a lot to do here to get ready for that and I have other websites that will need to be changed as well. It's really crazy when a format like Flash goes away, never saw that coming as it has been the standard for so long.

Re: St Clare of Assisi
There are a lot of people upset about the demise of Flash.
