Doing some more testing on a 3 axis brush-less gimbal at the local Egyptian Museum. It is a place I like to record video since the location is so different. The drone shots are stock footage and I did not shoot that footage.

Re: A brush-less gimbal in EgyptI like your smooth dissolves.
Re: A brush-less gimbal in EgyptYou have a talent for choosing intriguing angles and pans. I have to wonder where all the people were. Very calming, relaxing. Looks like a place I'd like to visit.

Re: A brush-less gimbal in EgyptThank you Bob & Dave.
I like to get out early before anyone is at the museum and I try to get there during the golden hour so I can take advantage of the different morning light. I also try to capture angles that are not expected and unique to the location. A lot of time it is the sunlight and color that catches my eye as I am walking by that I try to capture. The gimbal really helps to keep the camera steady so that I can walk around and record in addition to putting the camera on a tripod. I appreciate your feedback. Sidd "Life moves pretty fast. Re: A brush-less gimbal in EgyptJust a little trivia... at about 10 seconds in you can see a bunch of tall buildings off in the distance on the right side of the video. The buildings to the right are Adobe's world headquarters (3 towers).

Re: A brush-less gimbal in EgyptSmooth work Sidd! Would love to have a brushless gimbal for my Sony compacts. I do have the Stedicam Curve for GoPro, but haven't used it in a long time. (Good deal if someone wants to buy it from me. )

Re: A brush-less gimbal in EgyptThanks Mom.
The brush-less gimbals really seem to work well for me. I had recorded myself walking through a crown with the camera over my head and it was exceptionally smooth. There are so many competing brands that the price is always coming down. B&H has a decent one for $500 ttps://www.adorama.com/zhcranem.html?gc ... kqLAqdQCFU[/img]s9gQodorEBcQ Sidd "Life moves pretty fast. Re: A brush-less gimbal in EgyptWould love to have something like that. I am saving up for a new lens, but you may have sidetracked me yet again.
