No warning message to saveWhen I close a project I have made changes to and forgotten to save, 13 used to ask me if I wanted to save it. That doesn't happen in 15. Any idea why and how to get it to do this? Reminding is a good thing, what with the way my brain is working these days and all...

Re: No warning message to saveIt definitely should. It always does for me -- unless I've recently saved and don't need to.

Re: No warning message to saveIt does auto-save, but I haven't checked them out. It just doesn't give me the warning...

Re: No warning message to saveIf the auto save has saved a copy there would be no reason to warn you. I always use "Save" and "Save a Copy" frequently when working on a project and before closing, just a habit.

Re: No warning message to saveYeah, I forget sometimes and will close, so if I have done a bunch of stuff after it auto saved, that is lost. 13 warned me. 15 doesn't.

Re: No warning message to saveI have never experienced this -- or even heard of anyone else experiencing this, saddletree -- so I have no idea what to recommend.

Re: No warning message to saveI have tested multiple times and Premiere Elements 15 always asks me to Save if changes have been made since the last time the project was saved. I have no idea why the program is working differently for you. With some of the issues you are having it may be worth a call to Adobe, some things in your program are just not working properly at all.

Re: No warning message to saveJust as an experiment, go to the Premiere Elements Window menu and select Restore Workspace. Just to see if that makes any difference.

Re: No warning message to saveI have tested this a couple of times and will test more again tomorrow, and tell you then. But right now I am fighting with the menu issue and have to re-render the whole thing (I'll post another topic) which takes 1/2 to 1 hour, then re-burn, which is about 2 1/2 hours, so it will be a while before I get back to testing with short videos. In the meantime, I'm remembering to save...
