Hi,
I have a clip in my project library that I would like to only use the music track. How can I do this? Can I make an mp3 file of then track and save it?
Is there a way to strip a track from a video clip?
Thanks

Re: striping audio from video clipThere are a number of ways to do this.
You can put the video on your timeline in Premiere Elements, for instance, and use Share/Computer/Audio to output a WAV or MP3. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: striping audio from video clipIf you don't need to save the separate audio as a file, you can place the video clip on the timeline. Then, Alt click on the video portion and press either the delete or backspace key. You will be left with just the audio track.

I knew you could right click and select "unlink audio and video", but you have to love those modifier keys. Good tip! Home System: Acer M460 Win7Pro-64 - 4gb Ram - E5200 2.5ghz Pent Dual Core - 160gb Boot - 500gb Data
