Re: Anyone Interested In LIVE Online Training Seminars?I haven't tried this but it might be an option if numbers are manageable:-
AMD Ryzen 3900x 12C/24T, ASUS x570 mobo, Arctic Liquid Freezer ll 280, Win11 64 bit, 64GB RAM, Radeon RX 570 graphics, Samsung 500GB NVMe 980 PRO (C:), Samsung 970 Evo SSD (D:), Dell U2717D Monitor, Synology DS412+ 8TB NAS, Adobe CS6.
Re: Anyone Interested In LIVE Online Training Seminars?I love the idea that you can co-teach (there are so many experts (not me) in this community it would be cool if they can jump in and show something
Re: Anyone Interested In LIVE Online Training Seminars?
I think adobe offers a free web conference service that allows sharing of a screen... as far as the voice, I think it can do it too, plus there are free team speak servers available for small groups... I don't know the implications if it's a money making venture, but when I would "fly" flight sims, we used team speak to chat (with voice) with people all over the world. I hosted a session that had 20 people chatting while we "flew". web cams optional, but that does eat up bandwidth. I think MS has free net meeting servers to connect into as well, although I haven't tried in a while.

Re: Anyone Interested In LIVE Online Training Seminars?I love the idea but doubt anyone else would be awake during West Australian daytime. I could always email Twosheds with a question to ask for me and then watch the recordings, but he might be in bed as well
Off topic but sort of related: How about a tutorial on how to make tutorials? Which software to use for those great PSE and PRE screenshots and how to use it. This would encourage everyone to do a teach-in on their own favourite features and shortcuts. Kit Moderation in all things. Including moderation itself.
Re: Anyone Interested In LIVE Online Training Seminars? That's kind of a cool idea, Kit!
I love Camtasia. It's so easy and fun to make tutorials with it! It might be fun to show people how to use it. Except -- well, is it possible to run Camtasia to shoot a Camtasia session? HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Anyone Interested In LIVE Online Training Seminars?Steve,
I gave it a quick try. The code does not seem to be re-entrant. Clicking on Camtasia a second time does not start another instance. However, it must be possible with some trickery, otherwise how do they make their own demos? I assume they use Camtasia to make their own tutorials.... -Vernon
Re: Anyone Interested In LIVE Online Training Seminars?Looks like this one tutorial will have to go back to the good old days of the "Print Screen" key and paste into PowerPoint
Ouch! I just had a look at the price of Camtasia. Not sure I can justify $299US for the limited use it would get. Maybe I will just use Print Screen and paste after all. Kit Moderation in all things. Including moderation itself.

Nah! Since the bite on my neck (two lovely teeth marks) I only sleep in the daytime. Re: Anyone Interested In LIVE Online Training Seminars? You've been watching too many episodes of 'True Blood''
