We built this site with the following assumptions in mind :
- Most computer monitors are running 1024x768 or higher. It's hard to say what the exact stats are, but the number is growing
- The minimum resolution recommended for Premiere Elements (for example, and most video editors) is 1024x768
- If you're looking for digital content to include in video presentations, you probably have a broadband connection (strongly recommended anyway - some of our downloads are upwards of 100MB)
Those computers you're referring to must be at a 640x480 resolution (we even took 800x600 into partial consideration). I'd have to say, structure-wise, this site would look awful at that resolution, not to mention extremely hard to navigate via scrolling everywhere.
I think the odds of anyone with a resolution of 640x480 looking for video help/resources is pretty minimal
