A parking place for everything that relates to our contests and giveaways!

The judges and people have spoken. All of the videos were awesome, but we had to choose the videos that stood out a little from the rest. I'm sure you'll all agree.
The differences in a couple of the standings were a mere .01% !

Congratulations, everyone!
There was not a weak entry in the entire contest, and judge's decisions were tough to make. So congratulations to everyone who enterred.
(And I promise we'll get better at running this kind of thing in the future.)
Watch for future contest opportunities as Muvipix.com continues to share the wealth of our successful growth and encourage creative moviemaking.

I agree, What a really fun contest.
It was great to get a chance to watch all the creative juices flowing. I now have a huge “How did they do that one” file to go through.
As they say imitation is the greatest form of flattery so don’t be surprised when you see some of your cool tricks in my movies. I will have to put an “Inspired by Muvipix” watermark on my stuff.
Also I wanted to give a shout out to Steve for being so gracious as the contest unfolded. I half expected to see a black-eye on your avatar, so I think you should be commended for your noble efforts.

Thanks, Sidd. But if I end up with a black eye, it will be my own fault!
I do have a terrible habit of letting people know my opinion even when I'm not asked.

Congratulations to all the winners!!!!
Rest assure Sidd, no one had any intentions of giving Steve a black eye. It was a discussion. As for myself, I guess you don't know that I've been internet friends with Steve for almost three years now (and our discussion regarding the video contest hasn't changed that). Steve and I were among the first posters on the Adobe forum when PE1 was introduced. Chuck joined the forum a few months later. We've had a lot of fun together, some very silly topic threads (a lot of emoticons) and some heated discussions along the way. Those discussions haven't changed our friendship and neither has the video contest. I think Steve knows that. I wish you would realize it and move on.
Speaking of some of us (Ken, Bob, etc.) who've been on the PE forum for ages, I wonder what ever happened to Sergio - talk about heated discussions!

OT: Sidd, you've been back to post here and I guess you didn't notice that you had a PM. I know that you'll be notified via this thread (although, you should get notified with an email about a PM waiting, anyway...).
Just look at the top menu -
And click on "You have 1 new message", then respond appropriately.
Thanks.

Thanks for rushing to my defense, Doreen, but I don't think Sidd was in any way being hostile. He was joking about the ribbing I took for posting my opinions on all the contest entries.
I mean, have a look at that face on the left! Who couldn't love a face like that?

I havn't been around as long on the Adobe Forums but I've been on other forums and I can tell you the discussions here are VERY civil and polite compared to others I've seen. It's a credit to the people here and one of the reasons I'll keep coming back.
Congrats to the Winners! Great Contest looking forward to the next one!

Yes, Paul, I think a tutorial is an order for that 3D effect, seriously.
When you get a chance, please.

Just for your info, I took technical control of all the contest videos. In other words, the space it was allocating under your profile is now returned to you.
If anyone would like their original video that was submitted, let me know. Otherwise, they will be deleted.
I'll leave them in an archive until @ August 1.
