Re: RODE Wireless GO II | First LookNice looking kit;
Looks like it is cheaper than the Sennheiser But with more functionality - not waterproof - 3.5mm connector does not have a locking ring - how robust is the case? - interesting comment on the latency Worth further evaluation Gerry
Re: RODE Wireless GO II | First LookGerry I have the Rode Wireless Go I and it works really well. In terms of the case I find it really sturdy and not cheap feeling at all. I do like that the II has changed the wind muffler as mine constantly falls off. I also like that it comes with 2 transmitters that can be used for stereo or mono that is a huge improvement. I am quite happy with what I got.

Re: RODE Wireless GO II | First LookSidd,
Don't get me wrong, I like the look of these but I have Sennheisers because that is the 'preferred' equipment. I video referees for their development and the waterproof aspect is a key concern. So it is with the locking ring on the 3.5mm connector. One cannot run onto the pitch mid game and re-connect the ref. I doesn't look good. My preference would be for one transmitter and two receivers, then the coach could also experience the ref's communications during the game. But, wishful thinking. Gerry
