Video stuttering issuesAnd I'm not sure but I don't think it's the computer. I have Movie Studio Platinum 14.0 and something I've screen recorded stutters and the audio is not working correctly. the file plays fine in any other app (WinMediaPlayer and all others except the Apple app). Quality is good. Any thoughts appreciated.

Re: Video stuttering issuesIt could be the nature of the screen recording software. It's usually best to edit that type of video in the video editor that comes with the recording software. (Both PowerDirector Ultimate and Camtasia are both screen recorders and editors -- but most free programs that record your screen use codecs that are hard for general purpose editors to edit.)
Which program did you use to record your screen? Which programs have you edited it with in the past? Open your recorded video in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy and paste the report it generates to this forum. Once we see what the video is composed of, we can better advise you. Re: Video stuttering issuesHere goes Steve. I'm using Cyberlink Screen Recorder. I've used Magix Movie Studio 14.0. What I'm trying to accomplish is learning how to record then edit. I will use this for doing video for the programmersdigest.com Webazine/Magazine. So, I downloaded/recorded a Youtube video to practice on. I have to re-learn Movie Studio because my multiple illnesses over the past three years have been void of activity and I've forgotten most of what I knew at the time. Below is what you requested. And thanks for everything.

Re: Video stuttering issuesI don't see anything in the MediaInfo report that would indicate a problem with this video, Buddy. And I'm assuming you have Quicktime 7 installed on your computer to provide the necessary codecs.
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL762?view ... cale=en_US I'm a bit confused though by the workflow you describe. Did you say that this video was recorded with CyberLink's Screen Recorder? If so, you should edit in PowerDirector. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Video stuttering issuesThanks Steve. At the moment I don't know anything about codecs, but will at some point. Downloaded Power Point, so we'll see what happens whe I get it running. Your expertise is much appreciated.

Re: Video stuttering issuesNow I'm even more confused, Buddy. What's PowerPoint got to do with it?

Re: Video stuttering issuesPowerPoint is what you said I should edit with when screen recording with Cyberlink Screen Recorder. If it is a matter of what Codec Movie Studio uses then at the moment I'm not sure how to approach this. Hopefully I can in the reasonably near future.

Re: Video stuttering issuesNot PowerPoint, Buddy. PowerDirector. You should edit video recorded with the CyberLink Screen Recorder with CyberLink PowerDirector.
