Do I need a converter program to input VIDEO-TS files into PRE14 ?
If I do - any suggestions for a free version?

Re: Converting VIDEO-TS files to MP4Hi John,
What is the source of the files? Are you taking them off of a DVD? 1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.
2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.
Re: Converting VIDEO-TS files to MP4Hi Chuck,
I have some in ISO files and hope to take some from DVDs that I have burned in the past. John [1] Sony RX100 M6 (PAL)

Re: Converting VIDEO-TS files to MP4Premiere Elements can rip the files directly off your DVD, John (assuming your DVD isn't copy protected, of course).
Just put the disc in your computer's disc drive and then select Add Media/From DVD Camera or Computer Drive. The Video Importer will copy the files from the disc to your computer and load them into your Premiere Elements project. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Converting VIDEO-TS files to MP4Wow - that easy eh? I bet it's in your book and I didn't read it properly.
Thanks once again - really appreciated. John [1] Sony RX100 M6 (PAL)

Re: Converting VIDEO-TS files to MP4
Update: It worked perfectly on DVDs that I burned many years ago, which is what I wanted. Thank you. It doesn't seem to work on ISO files held on my hard drive though. The VIDEO-TS files that I can see in File Explorer don't show in PRE14. Do I need a stand alone program for this? [1] Sony RX100 M6 (PAL)

Re: Converting VIDEO-TS files to MP4Windows 10 can mount and read ISO files directly without needing any additional programs. If you double click the ISO file then it will be "mounted" and will appear as a new DVD drive. Elements should be able to read the files as though they were on a disk. Once you've finished with it "eject" the image from explorer and the drive will disappear.
