Torn between two DVD formats

Torn between two DVD formatsI'm going to be putting together a DVD where I'm going to need to burn both HD and SD versions. I know you folks have recommended stills be sized no larger than 1000x750 for standard video and 2500x1875 pixels for high definition. Can I "cheat" a little bit on the SD version and size my stills for around 2000x1500 to be in the middle between the two DVD formats, or is that going to screw up the SD version. Thanks in advance for the advice.
Re: Torn between two DVD formatsDoesn't matter really.
Your DVD will still come out 720x480 and your BluRay will still come out 1920x1080. Doesn't matter what resolution of media you add to the project. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Torn between two DVD formats
That is only to minimize the computer power needed to process the images and run Premiere Elements. If your computer can handle the project with large size images, no harm done.
Re: Torn between two DVD formatsThanks guys...I'm off and running.
