Text in PhotoHello,
Is there a way to add text to a photo with PSE15 so photo with text can be uploaded to a website? Ken Skopp Intel Core i7-4770 (3.4GHz, 8MB Shared Cache), Windows 10, One 1TB internal SSD drive (C) and 1 3TB internal drive (E), 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT720, 16GB DDR3-1600MHz, 16GB mSATA SSD Cache, Two External Hard Drives: 3TB (K) and 1TB (H).
Re: Text in PhotoCertainly.
Just add your text and then go to File/Save for Web and save the picture as a JPEG. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Text in PhotoHello Steve,
I used PSE Editor to add text to photo. When I tried to save as jpeg, "warning" button appeared which said "Current file format must be saved as copy. It will not save all document layers". Since I have written prior sentence, I tried to save file as jpeg. I ignored the "warning" button and used "save" button and it worked. I don't know what PSE editor is up to, but I got photo file with text saved as jpeg. Thanks Ken. Re: Text in PhotoHi Ken,
Just so you know what's happening, when you added the text you created a layered image. The first layer being your photo, the second layer being your text. The reason you got that message is that jpeg files do not support multiple layers. The message is warning you that the multiple layers will be flattened into one layer so you will lose the layered structure. Not a problem for what you want to do. Should you ever want to preserve the layered structure you could save as a psd or tiff file -- both of which support multiple layers. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
