Re: Daybreak - Time LapsePolarizers can help, but they seldom get rid of all the reflections and they add a stop to the exposure. Have you thought about using a lens skirt? Here's a DIY one.
Wide angle lenses need a larger size skirt than normal or telephoto lenses. Likewise, you'll need a larger size if you are shooting at an angle instead of square to the window.
Re: Daybreak - Time LapseThanks for this Bob. I was thinking about using a big piece of black construction paper but this looks like it would be easier to handle.

Re: Daybreak - Time LapseI do enjoy a time lapse... not really knowing your setup I would suggest either of 3 things,
1) placing the camera right up against the window, but im assuming you'll see more building than area to left hence the angle... 2) open the window..lol kind of kidding coz I assume you would have done this if it was possible, I was thinking if you can hang the camera out of the window... 3)this one I think is probably the best thing you can do.... I call it the cone effect but something like this (could be made with black card to your desired shape) http://www.leefilters.com/images/39-sys ... ood-01.jpg hope this helps For short amusing clips, check out my channel..........

Re: Daybreak - Time Lapse
Nice DIY Bob, a lot better than trying to tape things to the window and then having to clean it off later. Dell PC WINDOWS 10 PRO, 64-bit, Ver:1607, OS BLD: 14393.1066

Re: Daybreak - Time LapseI have an old black t-shirt I am going to use to see if I can get a better image.
