publishing for interneti am having issues when i publish a wmv file and load it to our Sharepoint folders. it is saying windows media player encountered a problem while playing the file. this does not error out when i open from my c drive. can anyone help.
Re: publishing for internetHi Meric1,
How large is the file? If there was a problem during the upload you may receive that kind of error. I just uploaded a 134mb MP4 file to our sharepoint site and it works fine, but that was from Camtasia. My guess is that the file was corrupted during the upload, can you try uploading it again? 1. Re: publishing for internetFurther Chuck's question, what are the dimensions of the WMV you're creating?
As we indicate in our books, the output dimensions available for WMVs in the last couple versions of Premiere Elements are absurdly large for web files. The books include instructions for creating a web-optimized WMV. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
