M-Audio

I've tried recording narration with an M-Audio Fast Track mixer. It records fine but plays back about 5% slower. Has anyone else attempted this and had some success?

Have you converted the file to a 44,100 WAV before importing it into Premiere Elements?

I'm recording directly to the timeline Steve. I could do it through Pro Tools but that would make it more complicated. I thought it would be a nice way to get a microphone straight into the program.
