How to identify which clip is in the timeline?Another newbie question: how can I determine which clip from my media window is in my timeline? When I move the playback head over different clips, I do not see anything anywhere that tells me which clip I'm using.
Computer: 3.2 GHz i5 CPU; 8GB RAM; ASUS GTX660 graphics card; Win 7 Pro 64-bit; 120GB SSD boot drive plus 1.5TB internal HDD
Software: Sony Movie Studio Platinum suite 13.0; Photoshop CS5
Re: How to identify which clip is in the timeline?Under View, check Active Take Information. IF you are in Movie Studio Platinum 13 Simple Mode (and in Movie Studio, maybe), it seems you need to right-click on the event (that's the clip on the timeline) and click Properties > Video Event to see the Active take name.
