Oh Boy Now..New Blue Success

Postby BuddyB » Mon Jun 02, 2014 9:08 am

I think this is going to be be embarrassing for yours truly, but here goes, New Blue Titler is working for me in MS 13..I can't believe it! I had such an issue with this I thought it would never work. Alas and alack, it may have been more me than New Blue. I'm including the email Ed sent me from NB:

The two links sent: http://www.newbluefx.com/downloads/Sony ... 140117.exe
http://www.newbluefx.com/downloads/Wind ... 140516.exe (Trial on the the stand-alone Pro 3 vs)
"Buddy, I reviewed our previous conversation and am still unsure what your issue was at that time. It really should be as simple as:
1. Install Titler Pro 3
2. Go to the Media Generators tab, select Titler Pro 3, and drag it to the timeline
3. Adjust the title as desired
4. Done."

You smart folks may have done this to the letter and still had issues. For me it was no.2. When I first set it up I did not drag to the timeline first..another duh. Now, the link to the updated version could be different than the last (update) version I was sent. When open the appearance is totally different. It looks like the Titler Pro 3 trial version. The main thing is it is working. Now I haven't attempted a whole lot yet, but so far so good. I hope this is helpful, if not one more time I'm red faced. :)

BuddyB, you do remember that your MSS 13 did not include NewBlueFX Titler Pro 3 (the 2nd link), so you need to buy it after the trial to continue using it without watermarks.
The TitlerEx (the 1st link) was bundled with MSS 13.

VK yes I do know that is Pro, and I did install it. I wanted to see What it would do. The thing I did find out, even more importantly, is that MS has the same appearance as Pro. The first one I installed did not. So, I'm a happy camper. :)
