Event Pan/Crop

Postby Susanna » Tue Apr 15, 2014 11:04 am

Having made a complete mess of a Pan/Crop effect, I find I can't actually delete the effect.
I've tried clicking on the Section Box and selecting "Default", but the effect is still there and the Pan/Crop indicator on the clip is still green.
The Remove Selected Plug-in button is greyed out in the Video Event FX dialog window, so I can't remove it that way and I don't know what else to do, other than remove the affected clip from the timeline and then re-add it.
Surely there must be a simpler way? :pull:

Hi Susanna,
I'm sure that Steve will be able to help you but he is out of reach for a few days. He should respond when he returns if no one else has been able to help you before then.

Remember that there are a number of ways to create a pan/crop effect in Vegas and Movie Studio.

Is your Pan/Crop an event pan/crop, a track pan/crop or a project pan/crop?

If you've reset the pan/crop for the event (and erased the keyframes) and you're still seeing a pan/crop, it could be because you've applied a track pan/crop.

It was an event Pan/crop - and I think I didn't erase the keyframes!
Thanks for the quick response!
