I just need to update on an earlier issue we were discussing - I reported on having a possible 'bug' with MS 13 with it not limiting renders to a loop region only (when a region was active). I have now discovered that there is a slight change to the interface which its would good for all to know ...

now the inital screen for 'make movie' has some basic defaults with check buttons - here there is the tickbox for 'render loop region only'. I was checking this, then going into 'advanced options' to choose a more specific template. Turns out that once you enter 'advanced options' screen the previously ticked box for 'render loop region active' disappears and becomes de-activated (without the user knowing it!).

There is now a small drop-down list top right on the 'advanced' page which includes the 'render loop region only' box again (very small!), and you can't see this until opening up the little triangular drop-down. Good to know :pull:

Thanks for pointing this out, McG!

I've noticed both of those boxes, but hadn't realized that you need to check the box on the output panel you're on otherwise it won't take.

No problem, make sure you put it in the next book and I'll take a cut :yh:

Actually, let me correct myself - I meant the drop-down box (triangle shape) on the top LEFT of the advanced options page.

Actually, it's already in the version 13 book. ;)

Though it's great that you clarified that you need to select the Loop Region Only option in the output panel you're using.

And the MS 13 book is dynamite for sure. I'm getting tons out of it. It helps me make up for lack of experience. :)
