Hi Guys,

Still playing around with Vegas to get the feel of things. I do have a couple of questions if I may,
1. I would like to open up the timeline so that I can see the clips a little better, instead of one at the beginning, and one at the end,
but at this stage I can not find a way to do that, I am sure it is there, but as usual I am missing it.
2. Say I use a pre-set title, and I want to use it a couple of times, but with different names, if I copy and paste it, I find you can change
the name in the editor but it does not change the timeline. I am guessing that it may work the same as Elements that if you want
to copy and paste the same title, you rename it each time, is that somewhat the same for Vegas.
Thanks again for any help BG :-D

Several ways to accomplish #1. Just put mouse on clip on timeline and highlight it and roll the center of your mouse wheel. If you can't do that then OPTIONS>>PREFERENCES>>VIDEO and change the thumbnails to show display option. Those work for Vegas Movie Studio and I assume same for Vegas Pro.

#2 need to be answered by someone else.

Reference titles. Not exactly sure what you're trying to do here. If you paste a title Vegas gives you the option to create a reference to the original or to create a copy of it.
If you create a copy then Vegas gives the title a new name (just a number at the end) and the title is a totally separate entity. If you create a reference then both titles will be the same entity with the same name and edits to one will affect both.

Does that answer your question or is there something else?
