Bit Rate Question - Sony Movie Studio 11

Uploaded a slide show yesterday to Vimeo. They said bit rate was too low for HD. So I tried again by upping the bit rate to 10,000,000 bps and got the same response from Vimeo. Is there something I am missing here?

I used the following template:

Internet 1280x720 - 30P

Yes, met all Vimeo's requirements except this: They want at least 5000 kbps for high definition video. Sony calls it bps in their template. So I pick 10,000,000 bps. That gives me 10,000 kpbs which is twice Vimeo's recommendation. Is my math wrong? But when uploading that 10,000 kbps video they still complain that it is below 5000 kbps.

I'm not sure what's going on between you and Vimeo though. Might be worth contacting them. It could well be an issue unrelated to the bit rate, even though you're getting a bit rate error message. But only Vimeo knows that for sure.
