Talk about the Sony Vegas line of products.

Hello everyone, I have been away for a few weeks working on some stuff. In my time away I noticed that some people like to post their stuff in places other than YouTube. I have seen names like Vimeo, Acidplanet, and others. Where is Vimeo at? I found Acid Planet, signed up for it, and I haven't figured out how to post a video, or for that matter how to view one. So a waste of money for me so far. Can someone kindly point me in the right direction? Thanks
Thanks Jeff,

Vimeo is at Vimeo.com, Jeffrey.
It is similar to YouTube and nearly as popular. There are also less known sites like Dailymotion.com and Niconico (Nincovideo.jp), a Japanese video sharing site.

Excellent!, so it sounds like I need to go look into these up front and personal. Ron and Steve, have either of you any experience with Sony's Acidplanet? IS that a place that gets much traffic? Have either of you ever post a video there?
Thanks Jeff,

Acid Planet is a specialty site catering to users of the Sony Acid music software products. It's not one you generally see on lists of video sharing sites.
YouTube, of course, is the 800 pound gorilla. But, it's all over the place in type and quality of content. Vimeo was established by people producing video and is one of the better sites in terms of good original video content. I've seen some very creative and interesting video there. We have a number of users that post on Vimeo. I've looked at DailyMotion, but it's not one of my favorites.

I prefer Vimeo over YouTube. The crowd on Vimeo is respectful.

Good thought Chuck. I think it easy to take The Gallery for granted without the large audience of the aforementioned. But we should all remember this is Home, and to attract others (masses) we should begin here..it's family!
