New Blue and Vegas ProI'm not trying to beat a dead horse, but is Vegas Pro handle New Blue any better than my experience with it? Anyone here have Pro?

Re: New Blue and Vegas ProI do have Vegas Pro 12 -- but not the new Vegas Pro 13. So I can only answer for version 12.
Are you having problems with a particular New Blue effect, Buddy? The New Blue Titler Pro is the only one likely to give you problems -- but that's only because it demands a pretty high-end video card. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: New Blue and Vegas ProI have Vegas Pro 12 as well, and I have Video Essentials 1 to 5 installed. No problems except for New Blue Titler Pro, which won't run because my GPU capabilities aren't good enough, so NewBlue says. The Video Essential series are version 3 and have GPU capabilities. On my machine I get better performance if I select the option "Disable GPU for this product" accessible by clicking the "About" link that's on the video fx dialog . I tried the version 2 plugins that don't have GPU capabilities, but version 3 is much better even with GPU disabled.
I also have NewBlue Stabilizer, and that works very will with paired stereoscopic videos. During installation of the NewBlue plugins, I only select to install the OpenFX-64 bit plugins for Sony Vegas. Is there a specific NewBlue effect that has been giving you trouble, Buddy? Dell XPS 8940 Intel 8-core 10th gen.-i7 10700K (3.8-5.1 GHz); 32GB DDR4 2933 MHz RAM; 512 GB SSD; 2 TB 7200 HD; BDRE-drive; NVIDIA(R) Geforce(R) RTX 2060 SUPER(TM) 8G8 GDDR6
Re: New Blue and Vegas ProI'm sure I'd be interested in Stabilizer, but I'm not that far along yet. I had beaucoux problems with Titler, which was my first interest in their stuff. It made MS13, which I have, crash and eventually I had to reboot and reinstall MS. Uninstalled New Blue because of the issues, but still had to chase ghosts and delete them. I finally got it cleaned, and now MS runs the way it should. I've said this before, the New Blue cust service is great and they tried like heck to help. So I'm not sure what I need to do. Steve, if that's the case I s'pose I should get a higher end card. The one I have is built into board. It'd have to be a PCIE board, and I'm not sure what I need to shoot for.

Re: New Blue and Vegas ProNo, Buddy, getting a better video card won't help you if you've moved on to version 13.
Movie Studio 13 and the NewBlue effects (particulary the titler) from version 12 just don't play well together. It looks like it's one or the other. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: New Blue and Vegas ProOne thing I failed to mention is that on Muvipix, because I spend more time here, but also any other site, my type breaks up. Parts of letters disappear, or sometimes a letter is so faded I can hardly make it out. Now, I can reload the page and everything will be normal, but at some point the issue comes back until I reload again. This was the first happening that made me think of the possibility of a display problem. I do have the latest Driver installed.

Re: New Blue and Vegas ProReally? What video card do you have now, Buddy?
Your processor benchmarks at about 2800, on this page. http://www.cpubenchmark.net/mid_range_cpus.html I usually recommend scoring at least a 5500-6000 in order to do any video editing. But you shouldn't see things like web pages not displaying correctly. I don't think. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: New Blue and Vegas ProThanks for the info Steve; will check with ASUS to see if the MB will accept a higher rated processor, that is after I check the manual.
