compact and archive in movie studio 12I have switched over from Adobe PE where I started my early days of editing on version 2. The main function I miss is being able to archive my project. PE had an option of compacting by simply saving the edited individual clips used in the project into another file and leaving the rubbish behind. There is a huge amount of rubbish in wild life video so this function was very convenient. Is this possible in movie studio.
Re: compact and archive in movie studio 12I am not aware of a feature like that in Movie Studio or Vegas, dongle.

Re: compact and archive in movie studio 12On second look, I did find a feature similar to the Project Archiver. But before you use it, you may want click on the lightning bolt button on the Project Media panel so that only the media files you've actually used in your movie are included.
Then select Save As. At the bottom of the Save As window is the option to Copy Media With Project. If you check this option, you'll be able to send your project file along with its media files to an external hard drive or wherever you're archiving your project files. Re: compact and archive in movie studio 12Read more on what Steve suggests in online Help under "Saving and Renaming a Project."
Btw, in v 13 there are some changes vs v 12. The lightning bolt button is no more and you have to go to Tools > Clean Project Media. The Trimmer still has the bolt to clear History.
