New NVIDIA Driver Crashing DAS5Hi
Is there anyone who has GeForce GTX260 driver version 306.23 installed and not having problems burning with DAS5? Thanks. PC: Dell Alienware 51 R2, 32GB Quad Channel DDR4, 256GB SSD
Op System: Win8.1 x64 Camcorder: Sony HDR PJ 760VE Profession: Hobbyist
Re: New NVIDIA Driver Crashing DAS5I've read where others are having major problems with that driver version using Cyberlink PowerDirector. Users are going back to earlier driver versions. It affects various Nvidia card models.
Dell XPS 8940 Intel 8-core 10th gen.-i7 10700K (3.8-5.1 GHz); 32GB DDR4 2933 MHz RAM; 512 GB SSD; 2 TB 7200 HD; BDRE-drive; NVIDIA(R) Geforce(R) RTX 2060 SUPER(TM) 8G8 GDDR6
Re: New NVIDIA Driver Crashing DAS5
That experience provided yet another example of why, when everything is working well, I am loathe to "update" or "upgrade" anything in my system--and never do so without first taking a "snapshot" with Rollback-RX. Re: New NVIDIA Driver Crashing DAS5I installed that driver last week. I don't have DAS5, but I just burned a disk using IMGBURN a few minutes ago and yesterday burned one using Encore CS6. No crashes or other problems so far.
Re: New NVIDIA Driver Crashing DAS5Bob, what video card do you have? The same one the OP has?
Re: New NVIDIA Driver Crashing DAS5I have a geforce gtx 470. The same NVIDIA driver handles both cards. I also have Windows 7 64-bit.
CORRECTION: Sorry, I confused myself. It was driver version 306.97 that I installed last week. I installed version 306.23 a month ago when it became available. I haven't had any problems with either one.
Re: New NVIDIA Driver Crashing DAS5I also have a geforce gtx 470 working with Sony Vegas Pro 12 on Windows 7 64-bit and have used both drivers without any major difference compared to previous drivers. That said, Vegas Pro 12 has had issues with all of them
