Using templates and effects in older versions

Hi all,

I have made the decision to give up on PE8 and stick with PE4 (which has never let me down ). I was wondering if it was possible to take advantage of assets from the new version and using them in the older version. Things like templates, effects, and anything else worth brining over. My questions are:

-would they be compatible?
-how do I copy them to get them to appear in PE4?

They should all pretty much work, PAPat.

But where they go depends on what they are. Effects are stored in one place, DVD templates in another, Themes in another, etc.

But if you move them into the same folders in your version 4 Program Files as you copied them from in your version 8 program files, you should be very close.
