BBall affect

Postby Ric » Sun Feb 27, 2011 12:37 pm

I'm using the Bball motion affect where the center of the ball spins open which I downloaded from this website in a video. May questions is I placed a vertical picture inside of the ball which fills the inside of the ball, but I have the 4 corners of the picture showing outside of the ball which I would like NOT to show in the video. Is there a matte or some easy way to have the 4 corners of the picture not show? Thanks for your help.

The garbage matte can be used to eliminate anything outside of the matte. Use the 8-point matte and form it in the shape of the ball around your picture.

Thanks Paul,

Should I put the matte on the ball or the picture?

You can also try adding the Edge Feather Effect to the picture and adjust the amount in the effect properties.
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

Thanks Paul LS the eight point matte worked great. When I first applied it to the picture the little plus with a circle around it when not all in my viewing window. So I had to make a few adjustments to the picture, but once that was done I just looked at the properties and made the changes to the other pictures with no problems. Thanks again.
