An out of town friend shot a continuous conversation between two people - the whole scene ran for nearly an hour.
He burned it onto a DVD and sent it to me. On the DVD it has been divided into 3 sections VTS_01_1VOB, ...2VOB and ...3VOB. I captured the DVD in PE8 and transferred these 3 sections to the timeline in sequence. The video track works perfectly.
However, the audio track has a dropout at each of the two "joints". I have not been able to get rid of this, although I even tried deleting the two frames on either side of the drop out and closing the gap.
Is there any way of correcting this? I suppose I could lift the audio track and edit it in my audio editing software, but am afraid I might loose sync.
Your advice will be appreciated.
Thank you.
