Hey, Chuck, I don't think there was a Share tab in version 3. The tabs weren't added until version 4.

In earlier versions, I think it was just called Export. Though I don't think it included options for exporting H.264.

Oooops, you are right Steve. I forgot we are talking about version 3 here

File/Export/Quicktime and then click on Advanced. You can select the H.264 codec there :)

There is no H.264 option under MPEG in version 3.

Er...which screen :-D

I just found on clicking export and selecting quicktime then advanced it will bring up a new box and in there you can select a drop down box and h.264 is available but I'm not sure if this is correct because there was no "share" clicked at any point. I guess I just cnt see for looking!! but I dont see any share tab on any screen!

Hi Mark,
You have the right place, there is no 'Share' tab or option in version 3.

I really think that if you are going to stick with and use version 3 that you should export WMV.
You might even want to export AVI files (File/Export/Movie) and then do the conversion in WIndows Movie Maker.

Cheers Chuck!! I was going mad looking for a "share" tab....I thought how can I be so dim as not to see a tab!! Realise now the ref was for a later version.. Easy done.

I will take your advice, and stick with WMV for internet use. Am pleased with process so far, very pleased. Delighted with all the help from you guys too
