You cannot copy and paste between projects but you can copy and paste within the same project.
You will have to start using the Timeline View/Mode, it will open up a whole new world to you :)
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

Thanks Chuck,

I managed to copy and paste within the same project. I just realized that what the software did was that it paste onto a location to the right of the CTI and on the lowest video track. That was why I could not find it earlier on. I am not sure whether yours is like that though. Hahaha :-D

By the way, is it possible to view each track individually on the sceneline ? [I mean I just want to view say video track 2 (yes just video track 2) on the scenline when I am using 3 different video tracks]

Thanks

No, not possible. Use the Timeline, not the Sceneline.

(1) - I still have problem. But the problem is always locating where Premiere placed it. My guess is that at the most botton video track to the right of CTI. Is that correct ?

(2) - Chuck say it is not possible to do
