Yes I can, I just called. If it makes a difference the person told me that quicktime is the program that opens when he clicks on the file. I assume that quicktime handles multiple mp4 codecs as well so that may not tell anything, right?

Any freeware transcoding or burning programs that can input a variety of mp4s and create DVDs from them? This might be the only time I ever do this and cheapo that I am, I hate to buy a program just for this time.

The bad news is that Vers 3 wouldn't recognize this particular flavor of mp4
The good news is I'm an idiot. When I started my video editing computer (which I haven't used in months) I saw and remembered I purchased and installed vers. 10 quit a while ago. Duh .... oh well it's burning now.
