I will try that.

Just FYI in case it helps. When I defragmented a few times...it always says some files can't be defragmented. I lookied at the report and it appears that it is almost all of the avi files thave I have imported. Is that normal.

Not sure that has anything to do with this. For example, the file that I was able to render worked and it is in the list that did not defragment.

It probably wouldn't de-fragment them because it needs contiguous space.

I think if you invested in a bigger hard drive, most of your problems would be solved.

right now my drive is 225 gb
182 is used and
42 free

The movie did burn. I am reviewing it now. There were a bunch of blank long black spaces between some of my slides that I did in Photoshop elements...so I am trying to fix that.
