Nero forum?

Postby wenglish98027 » Mon Mar 26, 2007 11:04 pm

I wonder if there would be enough interest in a separate Nero forum (like you have for Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements)?

I certainly would like to participate in such a forum here. Some of the others I have found are a bit too "Kazaa generation" for my tastes. :)

That's not a bad idea, Mike. I have Nero myself (haven't used it much lately). Maybe a section on CD/DVD burning in general?

Let's see if we get some additional input.

Not just burning though. I have been experimenting with its encoding capabilities (DVDs and MPEG-4s) and would like to be able to discuss it with like-minded individuals ;-)

Or a discussion of the different DVD authoring programs and what each can/can't do would be cool.

That's probably veering a little off the subject of what Mike's looking for, but I think that would be a great idea. Often times we get several programs that come with our computers that might be of use, but we know little about them unless we've had the time to experiment a little.

Actually I'd agree with jayell. It has quite a bit of overlap with Premiere Elements (much more basic video editing, but perhaps more capable DVD authoring and burning capabilities).

In my case, I purchased Nero (so it wasn't just junkware that came with the PC) initially for DVD burning, and it has some interesting features, so the more discussion the better.

Yeah, thanks.

I was going to (tongue-in-cheek) ask how to subscribe to the new forum, but it's already selected for me. :-D
