Knowing which discussions have posts since one's last visit

Postby Gerry » Thu Mar 08, 2007 2:03 pm

Is there any way for you to set up the form to show which discussions have new posts since the last time you've logged in?

I realize there's a "latest discussions' thing on the top of the page, but that's only the latest 5 discussions.

Just curious!

If you are logged in under your using name the icons by the side of the threads show new posts.
I have always logged in selected so everyutime I come to the site I do not need to log in.

There is a legend at the bottom that tells you what the little 'Bells' mean at the left side of the forum, Gold bells mean there are new topics or responses.

Also, at the top right of the forum there are 3 shortcuts to 'New since last visit' and more.

Very nice Ron :)

I usually just look for the little gold bells (or tags, whatever they are).

I think that that's what most do (myself as well), but it's always nice to have alternatives.

But the important part is that you must be logged in...

I like this feature! Hadn't noticed it! Plus when you refresh you can see which ones you've read! Very Slick!

Wowee you guys, that's perfect. Exactly what I was looking for: posts since last visit.
