Automatting the Cropping of Stills in a Slide Show

Postby George Tyndall » Fri Dec 24, 2010 6:31 pm

Problem: In my current slide show, a number of the slides have a distracting white element to the far right.

Question: Must I open PSE7 and crop each of the slides, one-by-one?

Answer: No.

Solution:
--In Edit>Effects, drag the Crop effect to the first of the errant slides
--click Properties, then adjust the edges of the crop as desired
--click Apply
--right-click that first slide and click Copy
--drag-loop (correct term?) all the suceeding errant slides to select them
--right-click the selected group of slides, then click Paste Attributes and
--voila! all the errant slides are instantly adjusted

BTW, that technique is also useful for other repetitive tasks such as, say, adding a Fade In or Fade Out Video to a numbe of one's slides.
