Titles "burst" upon fade-in & fade out

My titles give a "burst" of darker color at the 100% opacity keyframe both on my fade in and fade outs. I've been using the anti-flicker filter within properties to eliminate this "burst". However, my titles, especially if animated, display slight gray lines throughout the letters.

3 Questions:
1. Should I be considering this "burst" of darkness a flicker and using the method I cited above to eliminate it?
2. Is there a better remedy?
3. What is the difference between the anti-flicker filter in properties and the Flicker Removal under field options?

and a Minnesota person too, that's great
We spent over 20 years between the Alexandria area and Minneapolis.
I was at the WE Fest in 1985, love the Detroit Lakes area.

What you need to do is take the opacity down to 98% on the fade in and out, that will get rid of your issue.
For some reason 100% causes this problem sometimes, lowering the opacity to 98% takes care of it.
Just one of the little tricks you will learn around here
