Get Media from CDI have a lot of music CD's. When I click Get Media from the CD nothing seems to happen. I want to use the music in my home movie.
Re: Get Media from CDArnie, if they are true music CDs (not .mp3 files on a CD) then you have to rip them first. I don't think PRE will rip a CD.
But many other music programs will, including Windows Media Player or iTunes. Rip the tunes to mp3's and then you can import then into PRE with Get Media / Files. Bobby (Bob Seidel)
Re: Get Media from CDBobby's right. Use Windows Media Player or iTunes to rip the music from the CDs to your hard drive. You'll then be able to browse to them and add them to your Premiere Elements project.

Re: Get Media from CDThis is a pretty nice tutorial
http://www.cnet.com/1990-7899_1-6329586-1.html You can also rip the songs as WAV files, which Premiere Elements likes better than MP3s. But either way you should be fine 1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.
2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.
Re: Get Media from CDThanks very much to you guys.
