Flash Player

Postby Arnie49 » Sun Dec 27, 2009 8:57 pm

I recently bought a new computer: HP, Windows 7, 64 bit. When I run "Elements #9, Keyframe 101, the program hangs with the error message: Macromedia Flash Player 6.0 r21 has stopped working. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is found. I have updated the Flash Player to 10.0.42.34. I still get the same error message. When I was running this program in Windows Vista, 32 bit, I had no problem. Appreciate any help. Arnie49

One annoying thing about Flash Player is that sometimes when you update it, it leaves the old, obsolete version behind too.

Go to Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel and remove all versions of Flash from your computer. Then add Flash 10.

I did that. There was only one version 10 but I deleted that and reinstalled 10.0.42.34. Program still doesn't run.

Try it now, Arnie49. I converted the executable to Flash 10.

Wow, I really didn't think you'd try to download so fast. I was probably uploading the new file at the time.

Please try again.

That did it. Now I can play Elements 9.
How do I change my user name in forum to match subscriber downloads?

Thanks for all the help.
