When you create an album you can make it public or private, create a private album ;)

That's what I did, Chuck (assuming making it private is accomplished by passwording the album, and making it available to me only). All of the above experiments were tried on a file that was placed in that private album.

Ok, I'm going to give it a try and let you know what happens.
Could be that we need some help from Ron on this one :)

Ok, I did get it to work just like it is supposed to.

Go to the Gallery, click on Create Album, Create new album and give it a name.
Then click on Modify Album, select the new private album and make viewable = Me Only
and then add a password, that's it.

Here is the link to the album I created
http://muvipix.com/cpg/thumbnails.php?album=372

The password is: test

Even though it says viewable by me only it is actually anyone that has the password.
You should be able to get in with the password above.

Do you know where the problem is in your process?

I did everything perfectly (the first time). I just didn't understand where the URL came from. Now I do :yh:
Thanks, again, Chuck for sticking with me on this.

Ahhh, the URL to link to the Album :)
You have to actually go to the album in the gallery logged in, then you can copy the URL.
There might be another way that Ron knows about but that's how I do it.

It also took me awhile to figure out why my 640x480 video was appearing as a 320xwhatever .. that I had to go in and TELL it the dimensions. I almost didn't figure that one out. But all is well. And I now have a Christmas card I can present to friends and family. :TU:

Great job figuring out the password protect issue! Sorry, I didn't have access to a computer.

We probably learned more stumbling through it ourselves. We don't expect you to be tied to us 24 hours a day, Ron. :-D

I'm close to coming back with more questions. My page turn is really jiggly, and I can't seem to figure out how to fix it. I'll start a new thread and put a sample in with my call for help :-D .

Really jiggly usually is due to some extra keyframes hiding. We can look into it in more detail in the new topic :)

I think I'm just learning all the nuances of tweaking the page turn. I didn't realize how touchy the alignment is. I've got pages that are the same color as the album covers, so I've found if I put a temporary color layer behind the turning page while work on it, it helps. I'll play for awhile .. then come back later if I still don't have it right. Thanks, Chuck. My 6 page Christmas card went out a little jiggly, but most folks were impressed enough with the concept of a Christmas card with photos and my voice on it, that noone's mentioned it yet :-D
