Recommend slideshow maker with great effects?

Hi There:

I just found an amazing online slideshow maker called Animoto. I created this slideshow/video pretty quickly. http://animoto.com/play/cEie1CMUOK7LJd3F0iUQxQ I particulalry like the look and feel of these transitions. Can anyone recommend a stand-alone package that can do this sort of thing?
