Update to pre 7

Specific to Premiere Elements Version 7.

Update to pre 7

Postby RJ Johnston » Fri Feb 20, 2009 8:21 pm

I can't say that I never got an update for pre 7. Yesterday there was an Adobe notification icon in my taskbar tray with a pre 7 update for Sync and Backup with Photoshop.com.

I went to the Updates button under Help and, what do you know, there is an update, Robert!

First time I've ever seen that in Premiere Elements -- even if, technically, it's not an update for the program itself. At least it shows somebody's thinking about it.

Yup - me too. I didn't have to click anything - the Adobe Updater service found it.

I just installed the update. There was also one for Photoshop Elements.

For what it's worth, I can now back my designated video files up to Photoshop.com.

One word of warning though: You only get 2 gigs of space free. I've got the 20 gig premium service, and I practically filled the storage space with one video project!

That's a function that Adobe decided not to add to Photoshop.com.

Yeah I just tested it. You can only store videos. You can't play them.
