Where is the project name?????In Version 7 I cannot find the project name anywhere. I'm sure someone knows how to find it....
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.
2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.
Re: Where is the project name?????Run your mouse over the "pre" icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
Was this a test to see if we are listening? Bobby (Bob Seidel)
Re: Where is the project name?????No, not a test. I know that this was mentioned before but it never bothered me until recently.
I have been working in version 7 a lot and this became very apparent, this is really annoying. 1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

Re: Where is the project name?????Yes, it's annoying that the project name is not on the caption bar.
When you have the mouse over the pre icon and there is an astrix (star) after the name, the project is not saved. Svein

Re: Where is the project name?????The project name can also be seen if you hover the mouse over the Premier button on the taskbar at the bottom of the monitor screen.
Good tip Svein to let us quickly see if the project has or has not been saved. I believe it was Bob who pointed out that the auto save function doesn't kick in until the open production has been manually saved the first time. It is discussed in this post started by Theresa.
Re: Where is the project name?????Under circumstances I have not yet been able to fully understand, moving the cursor over PRE does NOT reveal the project name. It usually works but sometimes just sometimes, nothing happens. I wish they could put it back permanently as it was in Version 3....

Re: Where is the project name?????Try clicking somewhere on the title bar first. You need to make sure the "focus" is in the proper area of the window.

Re: Where is the project name?????I thought I had but you might be right there. I'll report back next time it happens and clicking doesn't have the desired effect
