HDV mpeg2

Does anyone know - does PPro2.0 handle HDV mpeg2? I import clips acquired with DVSplit from an HV30. PPro 2.0 seems to know all about them (knows all the properites) but won't play them - only shows the default media screen in a bunch of languages. Thanks.

Sounds like a missing CODEC. Can you play the files using other programs?
I am not a CODEC expert, so not sure what you might need and where to get it.

Indeed, I can play it in PE4!! Any idea where in PPro2.0 the codecs are hidden away? I could look. Dale
