flv to h.264

Postby chet1211221 » Sat Jul 04, 2009 12:42 am

Hello everyone,

I have a series of .flv files that I would like to combine and then export using the h.264 format so that i can play the output on my IPod. When exporting the sequence form Premiere, I have chosen the h.264 codec, then tried the settings for IPod (high and low quality). The video processes but whenever I go to play back the video there is a green screen that keeps flashing through the video. Also, when I try to play the video on my IPod, the video locks my IPod up and I have to do a hard reboot on the IPod.

Any help you can give in fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Chet

Hello Chet and welcome to muvipix. :meet:

I'm afraid I can't help with this particular problem (I am one of those "Anything but iPod" folk - I have the Cowon S9 instead) but for sure someone will be along soon who will be able to help you out.

You're not going to be able to do this in Premiere Elements. But you may be able to with Prizm Video Converter. It's free.

Here's a link to where you can get the converter and what settings to use with it.
