Re: PProHeadless popupAre you getting a popup that says "PProHeadless.exe has stopped working" or are you getting something else?
PProHeadless.exe is the Premiere Pro rendering engine. It runs in the background when used. It's "headless" because it doesn't have a user interface. It's typically called by Premiere Pro or Media Encoder.
Re: PProHeadless popupYes, it says it's stopped working. I should've included that in the post earlier.
But you say it's for Pro, so I guess you are going to tell me not to worry about it in the media encoder.
Re: PProHeadless popupMedia Encoder uses it too, so you do need to worry about it.
This problem is often caused by memory, but other things can cause it too. One thing you can try is going to Edit>Preferences>Memory and set "Optimize Memory for" to "Memory". What version of Premiere Pro are you using and what are your system specs?
Re: PProHeadless popupI have Pro 5.5.
My supercomputer may have been having memory problems, but I've gotten this error in the past many times when my system was new. I checked the rendered videos, Bob, and they seem great.
Re: PProHeadless popup
I think this is what Bob needs to know maybe to see if you have enough memory. Thanks

Re: PProHeadless popupIt's a supercomputer. It'll chew through anything -- anything -- in no time. So it has lots of whatever it needs. I just don't know right here where I happen to be today. But it's a very bad dude.
