Is Encore part of Premiere Pro or a separate program?

thanks,

It's included with Premiere Pro. It should be part of your installation.

It's a little murky about how Encore will fit within Creative Cloud in the future. There is no Encore CC. Encore CS6 is still offered as part of the Creative Cloud and you can get it if you subscribe to Premiere Pro CC.

You will have to download from Adobe the missing content for Encore, PrPro & AE:

Thanks! From my reading I had gotten the idea Encore was part of PrePro but would not be usable until the serial number was applied, however, I cannot find it on my computer, either in the list of programs, in remove programs, or by running a search in Windows Explorer. I did find an empty folder named Encore in AppData.

Now that I have the actual disc in hand, should I install Encore from the link Mom posted...

or should I de-activate, uninstall PrePro version downloaded from Adobe, then install from the disc?

Is one way or the other more likely to cause possible conflicts on my computer?

thanks again,

Paz

Encore comes with PrPro and you should see it in your list of programs. The download from Adobe is the Library file.

If you have Windows 7 64-bit, Encore should be installed at this location: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS6". There should be a lot in that folder including "Adobe Encore.exe" which is the main program. If it isn't there, you don't have Encore Installed. If that's the case, I'd deactivate Premiere Pro CS6, uninstall it, and reinstall from the disk. You shouldn't have any conflicts. Be sure to apply the updates afterwards.

I couldn't find it, so I I uninstalled and reinstalled from the disc. Encore is there now.

I've had to re-install the language files again as well.

Thanks!!!!
