CS 5.5 co-exist with CS6?

Postby karri » Wed Oct 03, 2012 11:04 am

Hi Everyone,

We're thinking about upgrading to CS 6 Production Premium and have 2 questions,

1. Can we leave CS5.5 Production Premium on same computer when CS6 is installed? (Currently CS3 MC is installed alongside CS 5.5 with no problems)

2. I think I read here on the forum that you get a 30-day free subscription to Lynda.com with the purchase of CS 5.5. We never figured out how that worked ... did we miss the boat and if so, is that something available if we upgrade to CS6?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Question #2: Yes, you missed the boat. The one month subscription to Lynda.com was one of the registration benefits that you could choose when your registered your product. After you registered from within the product, you would get an email thanking you for registering that would contain the URL to select the benefit you wanted. Benefits could be claimed up to the next release. Since CS6 is now out, the CS5.5 benefit has expired. Adobe did not provide a registration benefit with CS6. :(
